DETECT-OS nukes :HAIKU from *FEATURES*
While browsing the SBCL source for an unrelated change, I came across this gem: https://github.com/sbcl/sbcl/commit/6e722b9c234803266ca6f8cc9c682c4d54129ad8#diff-82a132350b5a1a795c52931966444d6aR68
It looks like a real issue, so I figured someone should report it.
Near as I can tell, the issue is that SBCL (not sure about others as I don't use Haiku) pushes both :unix
and :haiku
to *features*
. detect-os
then determines that the OS is Unix first and removes all other options, including Haiku from the features list.
I'm skeptical that removing things from *features*
is the right move here, but perhaps that's been around long enough that people are depending on it. Would it make sense to check all possibilities first and then mutate the features list to fix it up?
