Compiler error building motif server on Fedora 40
Describe the bug
Motif server won't build on Fedora 40. Instead we get this error:
In file included from ../../../src/motif/server/tables.c:42:
./TypeTable.h:25:12: error: initialization of ‘void (*)(struct message *, char *, int)’ from incompatible pointer type ‘void (*)(struct message *, float, int)’ [-Wincompatible-pointer-types]
25 | {"Float",message_write_float,message_read_float,sizeof(float)},
| ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
./TypeTable.h:25:12: note: (near initialization for ‘type_table[23].writer’)
gmake: *** [Makefile:16: tables.o] Error 1
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Get Fedora 40
bin/buid.sh -C "" -o <lisp>
- See the error when building motif server
Expected behavior
This should work and does on Fedora 39.

Additional context
Using gcc 14.0.1. My Fedora 38 and 39 boxes use gcc 13.2.1. There have been compiler warnings when building the motif server for a long time that I just ignored.
