QUUX-Hunchentoot stopping to handle requests
Sometimes QUUX stops handling requests.
Symptoms are Error while processing connection: The condition An I/O error occurred: undocumented reason (return code: 5). SSL error queue is empty. occurred with errno: 0.
, sockets hanging with unread data (netstat -antp | grep :<port>
), and Can't handle a new request, too many request threads already
.
(Yes, the latter thing I can avoid by using enough threads; but for a mostly CPU-bound process I'd really like to use only 1 or at most 2 threads per CPU, to avoid unnecessary scheduling, cache trashing, etc. (I'd like the requests to be handled with the lowest possible latency.)
I've already passed :read-timeout 5 :write-timeout 5
to easy-acceptor
; but that doesn't seem to work when a request has been fully handled and just the socket is kept open. (Might this still lock the thread to that socket?)
